Types of suspensions used in slurry tanks:
POMOT company uses in slurry tanks the following types of suspensions:

  • Uniaxial
  • Uniaxial with springs
  • Tandem
  • Biaxial with springs
  • BOGIE
  • Tridem – triaxial with springs
  • SIDRA 12000
 

Uniaxial suspension – with rigid axle
Uniaxial suspension is used in slurry tanks with frame and monocoque construction with capacity from 2500 to 10000 litres.
It is a standard construction for slurry tanks. Le of a spring is taken by low pressure tires. The advantage of uxiaxiall suspension is its manoeuvrability.
Slurry tanks with uniaxial suspension May be equipped with a parabolic spring.


Uniaxial suspension – with a spring
Available in slurry tanks Type T546/A capacity 10000 litres.
On request it may be installed in truck with different capacity with uniaxial suspension.

TANDEM suspension
Tandem suspension is used by the POMOT company in the following slurry tanks:


  • Type T544 capacity 6700 litres
  • Type T544/2 capacity 8000 litres
  • Type T546 capacity 10000 litres
  • Type T546/1 capacity 13000 litres

Biaxial suspension with springs

Biaxial suspension with springs is used by the POMOT company in the following slurry tanks:


  • Typ T546 capacity 10000 litres
  • Typ T546/1 capacity 13000 litres 
  • Typ T546/2 capacity 16000 litres
  • Typ T550 capacity 18000 litres

BOGIE suspension – tandem with springs

BOGIE suspension – tandem with springs is used by the POMOT company in the following slurry tanks:


  • Typ T546 capacity 10000 litres
  • Typ T513 capacity 13000 litres
  • Typ T516 capacity 16000 litres
  • Typ T550 capacity 18000 litres

Tridem suspension – triaxial suspension with springs or pneumatic

Tridem suspension is used by the POMOT company in the following slurry tanks:


  • Typ T520 capacity 20000 litres
  • Typ T522 capacity 22000 litres

SIDRA 12000 suspension is used by the POMOT company in the following slurry tanks:

TWO – WAY BRAKE SYSTEM
In slurry tanks POMOT company is standardly using one –way brake system. However, on request the slurry tank can be equiped in two-way brake system. This system can be also equiped in braking force regulator depending on level of the filling tank, due to the brake force is currently and automatically keepin under control.

REAR TORSION AXLE
The slurry tanks with biaxal suspension, TANDEM, triaxal, TRIDEM can be equiped in dragged steering axle:
rear torsion axle in biaxal suspension and TANDEM
front and rear torsion axle in triaxal suspension and TRIDEM
Torsion axles significantly facilitates maneuvering by the slurry tank and reduce so – called “transport ditches” on returns, due to the crops area is not damaged.

CLEVIS – TYPE COUPLING
Standardly the slurry tanks are equiped in catch hitch type on the high of 400 mmm from the foundation. However, on request slurry tanks can be adapted to copuling with the tractor by clevis – type coupling on high from 850 to 1050 mm from the foundation.

ROTATING EAR HOOK
Theslurry tanks standardly have exchangeable ear hook. If the slurry tank is moving on hilly terrain then on request POMOT company could montain rotating ear hook.

BALL CATCH
The new trucks equiped in ball catch, POMOT company on request can equiped the slurry tank in Scharmuller type K80 ball catch or other front catch. Spring drawbar The comfort and driving of the slurry tank can be increase by application on each type of the slurry tank spring drawbar by the longitudinal spring. In compare to spring drawbar by the lateral spring, spring drawbar by the longitudinal spring is more flexible, strength and driving is more comfortable.

UNIVERSAL ROTARY DRAWBAR (Patented by POMOT CHOJNA)
If you use universal rotary drawbar on hitch catch and transortable catch there is possible to couple the slurry tank with the tructor on hook – type coupling or clevis – type coupling without construction modification.

TWO – WAY BRAKES WITH REGULATED BRAKE FORCE
On request, the slurry tank can be equiped in automatical regulator of brake force, which is regulating the brake force depending on the level of filling the tank.

HYDRAULIC BRAKES
The air brake system is using standardly, however, on request the hydraulic brake system can be applied.
